× Travelling to the Dream realm: When Thomas falls asleep he often ends up in an alternate dimension in which a lot of his dreams or his nightmares surround him. Whatever he feels is real and so, any scratches, bruises or other things that happen to him will manifest onto his conscious body when Thomas wakes up as well. While in this realm he can sense other people's dreams and corrupt them, turning them into nightmares, though he knows how dangerous it is, he can't help but keep doing this, getting a touch of euphoria with every dream turned nightmare. Additionally, the time in there is more slower and unpredictable in his dreams.
× Dream Materialisation: When sleeping, figments of his dreams or nightmares come to life. He can make other people's nightmares materialise into reality as well sometimes if they come in contact with him. Regardless if they are sleeping or not, whatever materialises can physically touch people but if anyone touches or harms the figure, whatever it may be, Thomas will feel the effects. For example, if someone's nightmare is a bully and someone punches the apparition, Thomas upon waking up will get a bruise where that person hit the apparition. Now as he has gained more control over this ability, he is able to manifest these figments while he is still awake, normally this happens in a burst of anger since it takes a lot of energy to summon it.

Background
Thomas Gray Brock was born on January 20th to Hannah Gray and Eddie Brock, a young couple in their teens who forgot how condoms worked.
For the first two years of his life, Tommy lived with both parents but that soon changed. At first there were arguments over the small things, then the bigger things (such as Eddie's drunk car crash) that was the final straw when eventually Hannah left the apartment to raise Tommy better. She stayed with her parents for a year or so but that changed when she realised just how toxic they were. She never realised how it was when she was a child but when she saw how they treated Tommy and spoke ill of Eddie she moved from them again. Hannah eventually left and got an apartment of her own with what money she had saved for college, she worked several jobs and often left Tommy at the neighbours. But for the most part life was pretty great, even without a dad he didn't really mind, his mom was the best parent out there.
But then mom got sick.
When he was 9, Hannah called Eddie and explained the situation, Tommy acted as though he didn't hear but the truth was he sat on the stairs and heard it all. The next weekends consisted of him finally meeting his dad while mom went to the hospital, at first Tommy held a grudge towards the reporter but he soon warmed up to him. He was hopeful that once mom got better he could live with both of them, but she didn't, it only got worse until she passed away when he was 12.
From then on he lived with his dad, there are fights at times, and the occasional spat, but he loves his dad more than anything. Weird Alien and all
